We are looking for: 4 undergraduate and-or postgraduate students from Greece
Europe Direct Central Macedonia – Perrotis College, Europe Direct of Epirus, Europe Direct ELIAMEP Attikis, Europe Direct Stara Zagora, Europe Direct Varna and Ruse, Europe Direct București, Europe Direct Zadar, Europe Direct Bistrita-Nasaud, and Europe Direct Bacau are delighted to announce the start of the Model European Parliament Simulation, entitled: Decide2Decide, a project that aims to familiarise the younger generation with the decision-making process within the European Parliament.
The Model European Parliament Simulation entitled: Decide2Decide will be a one-day simulation of the European Parliament, with the participation of young university students from Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and Greece. The call is open to 4 advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students from Greek from various disciplines. Participants will be assigned the roles of Members of the European Parliament from the four major political groups, promoting their policy positions, and negotiating on the «European Green Deal»:
-Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats)
-Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D),
-Group of Renew Europe (previously ALDE)
-Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance (Greens/EFA)
The topic to be discussed is the European Green Deal.
The working language of the simulation will be English.

Successful applicants will be informed by Wednesday, November 22nd. Participants will receive their study guides and relevant material shortly after, and they will have the opportunity to attend preparatory lectures on the EU institutional processes, as well as the agenda topic.
